Welcome to my photo website!  

Photography has been a hobby of mine for a very long time.  I started taking photos at a very young age with my Dad's film cameras.  We would go on vacation to places like Yellowstone National Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Tetons, and many other beautiful places out west and I would take the camera and shoot and shoot and shoot while we were driving through the parks.  Soon he would find out we were out of film and in for a hefty bill for developing all of it when we got home!  

When my husband and I retired to Texas in 2011, I decided to buy a DSLR and take a few online classes. That progressed in to community night classes at a local high school.  Then in 2014 & 2015, I attended the Texas School of Professional Photography in Dallas.  

I found that my passion was in nature photography and for the past few years, I have been driving around Texas in search of all of the species of birds and beautiful scenery that the state has to offer and I am really enjoying it!    

I am, by no means, a professional photographer, but I am ready to share some of my favorite images with my family & friends.
